Individual Counseling
Addresses a variety of mental health issues or concerns. Common issues addressed include anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, family discord, marital issues, ADHD, conduct disorders, mood, impulse control and adjustment disorders. The REACH Restoration team includes licensed counselors and qualified mental health specialists who will walk life with their clients (CPST).
Our trauma focused team offers a compassionate approach to counseling, which encourages clients to explore how limiting beliefs and trauma are held in the body—often below the level of conscious awareness. Specialties include trauma and PTSD; grief and loss; emotional struggles such as shame, depression, anger and anxiety, and relationship problems. Our behavioral health specialists are trained in self regulation, a gentle approach that enables the nervous system to integrate overwhelming events and bring balance to the nervous system.
Family Counseling
Helps to promote better relationships and understanding within a family. It may be incident specific, as for example family counseling during a divorce, or a child experiencing trauma. Alternately family counseling may address the needs of the family when one family member suffers from a mental or physical illness that alters his or her behavior or habits in negative ways. Our REACH Restoration staff often helps the family reflect on better ways of communicating with each other and because of that family counseling may in part be instruction and encouragement. In fact, family counseling often teaches family members new and more positive ways to communicate to replace old, negative communication patterns. There is no such thing as a perfect marriage. Marriage counseling helps a marriage weather the storms and rebound stronger as a result of the counseling. Counseling helps a couple focus on their problems in a marriage and resolves them. Most problems include poor communication, a lack of intimacy, anger or nagging.
Christian Counseling
If you are a Christian and are wanting to include your walk with Christ during your sessions, we will encourage you to listen more to the Holy Spirit and His leading. Together you will look at how our past has impacted on achieving all God has called and equipped you in life. You will be encouraged to share your spiritual needs, doubts, and desires. Our behavioral health specialist will support you where you are and encourage you in the direction you want to grow.
REACH Restoration Counseling is in network for Government and Private insurances. If not insured we offer Self Pay.
