WELCOME
From the moment survivors contact the Partnership, advocates are trained to assess and ensure a survivor's physical safety is obtained while they are providing emotional support to ensure emotional stability. All services are trauma informed, free of charge, and confidential for all survivors.

HOW IT STARTED!
BELOVED began in 1983 formally known as, Victims Services for Spousal Abuse providing shelter to victims in Pike County. In 1996, the name was amended to the Pike County Partnership Against Domestic Violence (Partnership) and began providing a comprehensive program of court advocacy accompaniment, crisis intervention, emergency shelter, and started providing education on healthy relationships, and awareness about domestic violence. In 2020, our name was amended again to the Partnership Advocacy Center of Pike County due to providing dual programs for domestic violence and rape crisis services. The Partnership offers many services to survivors of domestic & sexual violence: court advocacy with accompaniment filing protection orders, temporary emergency shelter, 24/7 crisis intervention, safety planning, community referrals, survivor support and aftercare, community education and outreach, Batterers' Intervention Program (BIP), certified in Safe at Home enrollment, Vine and Crime Victim assistance, Facilitator for Pike Co Coalition to End Human Trafficking, facilitates Stewards of Children, Best Life Human Trafficking Curriculum for At-Risk Teenage Girls, and offers Safe Dates within local school districts.
